Translate using WPML
Real Estate Manager is fully compatible with the WPML plugin.
Make sure you’ve installed and activated the following plugins
- Real Estate Manager Pro (12.8+)
- WPML Multilingual CMS (4.8+)
- WPML String Translation (3.4+)
- WPML Media Translation (3.0+)
After you activate WPML, go to WPML → Setup to complete the quick setup wizard.
Translating Properties in Real Estate Manager
Using WPML, you can easily translate all the property content into multiple languages following these steps:
- Go to WPML → Translation Dashboard.
- Expand the section Properties and select the properties to translate.

3. Choose a translation method – we recommend using WPML’s automatic translation for the best results. If you’ve just registered with WPML, their proprietary AI engine, Private Translation Cloud (PTC), will be pre-selected. The Translation Dashboard also shows you the cost of automatic translation in credits and euros.

4. Finally, choose whether you’d like to review automatic translations and click Translate to begin.

To avoid having to review translations, use PTC – this AI translation engine uses your site’s context to produce highly accurate translations that don’t need review.
Once WPML is done, go to your website and switch languages to view your translated content.

Translate Strings
If you notice specific texts that aren’t immediately translated, you need to translate them separately from other content. For example, there may be strings on the property listings that aren’t translated along with the rest of the property content.

To translate these strings:
- Visit one of your translated pages on the frontend of your site. WPML automatically picks up untranslated strings.
- Go to WPML → Translation Dashboard and expand the section Other texts (Strings). Use filters to find the strings, select them, and send them for translation in the same way as Properties.

From this section, you can translate any other strings you need, too.
Check out WPML’s documentation for more details on translating custom fields.
Translation Preference for Property Fields
When creating new property fields, it’s important to indicate how WPML should handle them:
- Translate – translate the field into other languages
- Copy – duplicate the field into other languages without translating
- Don’t translate – ignore the field and don’t translate
For instance, if you created a numerical field, like “number of bathrooms”, you need to copy the value into other languages – not translate it.
To set your translation preferences:
- Go to WPML → Settings.
- Scroll down to the Custom Fields Translation section.
- Search for your property field and set its translation preference.
