Price Range Filter Options for Property Search

Real Estate Manager ships a flexible price range filter that you can show in five different formats, so buyers filter by budget the way that suits them best. Offer a smooth price slider, simple min and max fields, neat dropdown ranges, autocomplete inputs, or quick starting from options, and pick whichever fits your market. The price slider even supports non-linear steps, moving in small increments for budget homes and larger jumps for luxury ones. You choose the format in one setting, with no code.

Five ways to filter by price

Different buyers think about budget differently. Pick the format that matches your audience, or change it any time.

Price Slider

A draggable slider with two handles for setting a minimum and maximum. Smooth, visual, and great on desktop and mobile.

Min Max Fields

Two open text fields where buyers type any minimum and maximum they want, with no presets or limits.

Min Max Dropdown

A single dropdown of preset price ranges you define, ideal when you want to guide buyers to sensible bands.

Min Max Dropdowns with Input

Two dropdowns with autocomplete suggestions that also let buyers type a custom amount, mixing presets with freedom.

Single Options

A single starting from dropdown, like 100K plus or 1 Million plus, perfect for quick budget filtering.

Switch in one click

Set the Search Price Range Selector in Search Settings to any of these formats, save, and your search form updates.

The price slider, in depth

The price slider is the most popular choice, and it is fully configurable. Choose the handle shape, square, rounded, or circle, then set the minimum, maximum, and step interval, and the default range shown when the form loads. You can even switch the whole range based on a field value, so a search for rentals uses a small range like 50 to 10,000 while a search for sales uses 500 to 1,000,000. Set the Field Name to Switch Ranges to something like property_purpose|Rent and the slider adapts on its own.

A non-linear price slider built for real estate

Here is something most plugins miss. Property prices are not evenly spaced. A buyer looking at a 100,000 home wants to move in small steps, while a buyer looking at a 5,000,000 property thinks in much larger jumps. Real Estate Manager lets you build a non-linear price slider that changes its step at different price points. In the Price Range Options box, you add one line per band, written as a price point and a step value:

  • 100000-1000 moves in steps of 1,000 around the 100,000 level.
  • 500000-5000 moves in steps of 5,000 around the 500,000 level.
  • 1000000-10000 moves in steps of 10,000 around the 1,000,000 level.
  • 5000000-50000 moves in steps of 50,000 around the 5,000,000 level.

Precise ranges or quick filters

Min Max Dropdown for precise ranges

Provide ranges like 100-500 and 500-1000 in Price Range Options, and buyers pick an exact band from one dropdown.

Single Options for starting from

Provide value and label pairs like 100000|100K, and buyers get quick filters such as 100K plus or 1 Million plus.

Switch ranges by purpose

Use one set of ranges for rentals and another for sales automatically, so the filter always fits what the buyer is searching for.

Friendly labels and steps

Show readable labels like 1 Million instead of raw numbers, and set custom slider steps for a natural feel.
