Energy Efficiency Ratings for Property Listings

The energy efficiency feature lets you show a property’s energy rating right on its listing, the same A+ to H scale buyers know from official certificates. Turn it on and each property gains a dedicated section for its energy class, performance index, renewable energy, and CO2 figures, which then render as a clean, color coded energy bar. It is the simple way to display the energy details that many markets expect, and that much of Europe and the UK legally require in every property advertisement.

What is the energy efficiency feature?

Energy efficiency in Real Estate Manager is a set of special fields built for energy ratings, sitting alongside the fields you create in the custom fields builder. Once enabled, every property can store its energy class and key performance figures, and the plugin displays them on the listing as a color coded scale from A+ down to H. The values come straight from the property’s energy assessment, so you are not calculating anything, just entering what the certificate states. Buyers understand the rating at a glance, and you present it in a polished, professional way.

The energy details on every listing

Energy Class

The A+ to H grade for the property, shown on a color coded bar that buyers recognize instantly.

Global Energy Performance Index

The property’s total energy use, entered in a unit like 92.42 kWh per square meter per year.

Renewable Energy Performance Index

How much of the energy comes from renewable sources, for example 1.00 kWh per square meter per year.

Energy Performance of the Listing

A short, plain summary of performance, such as Low, Medium, or High, for buyers who want the quick version.

CO2 Emissions

The property’s carbon figure, so buyers can weigh the environmental impact alongside the running costs.

How to enable energy efficiency

  1. Go to Real Estate Manager, open Settings, then Property Settings.
  2. Set Energy Efficiency to Enable and save. This switches on the special energy fields.
  3. Edit any property and find the new Energy Efficiency section.
  4. Choose the Energy Class and enter the performance index, renewable index, energy performance, and CO2 values.
  5. Update the property, and the color coded energy scale appears on the listing.

Why energy ratings matter on your listings

Meet listing rules

In many countries, including across the EU and UK, property ads must state the energy class. Showing it on every listing helps you stay compliant.

Help buyers decide

Energy costs are a real part of owning a home. A clear rating lets buyers compare running costs at a glance.

Signal property value

An efficient property is a selling point. Displaying a strong energy class highlights value and can help speed up a sale.

An instantly familiar scale

The A+ to H color bar is the same format buyers see on official certificates, so it needs no explanation.
