A real map search experience, free with your site

The Google Map Filters addon transforms how visitors discover properties on your Real Estate Manager site. Instead of scrolling through pages of listings, they explore a live map, filter by location and criteria, and find homes by neighborhood the way they would on the biggest property portals.

All properties on one big map

Display your entire property database on a large interactive map with custom pin markers for every listing. Visitors get the full geographic picture of what is available before they click into anything.

Filter directly on the map

Apply search filters and watch the map update instantly. Properties that no longer match the criteria fade away, leaving only the listings that fit what the visitor is looking for. No page reloads, just a clean, responsive experience.

Radius search around any point

Visitors can drop a pin anywhere on the map and search within a custom radius. Perfect for buyers searching near a workplace, a school, a specific neighborhood, or a transport hub that is more important to them than any other filter.

Auto filter on map zoom

Zoom into a neighborhood and the listings automatically narrow to what is visible. Pan across the map and the property list updates to match. The map becomes the filter, the way visitors think it should already work.

Five map style options

Choose from five different map styles including the latest style 5 to match your site’s design and brand. From clean minimal layouts to richer detailed styles, every option keeps property pins clearly visible.

Live property updates

The map reflects your live property database in real time. Add a listing in WordPress and it appears on the map immediately, with no caching delays or rebuild steps to remember.

Why it matters

Most buyers shop for a neighborhood before they shop for a house

When someone is looking for a home, the question that matters most is rarely just price or bedroom count. It is location. Is this near my work? Is it a 15 minute drive to the school? Is it in the part of town I actually want to live in? Those questions cannot be answered by a list of property cards, no matter how well filtered. They can only be answered on a map.

The Google Map Filters addon gives your visitors the answer they are really looking for. Properties appear as pins on a large map, filters apply visually instead of through dropdowns, and a radius search lets buyers find homes near the places that actually matter to them. The result is the kind of map first property search experience visitors already use on Zillow and Rightmove, available free on your own site.

FAQs

Is this addon really free?

Yes. The addon is completely free and open source, downloadable directly from GitHub. No license key, no paid tier, no upgrade prompts. Anyone running Real Estate Manager Pro can install it and start using it.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

Yes. The addon uses the Google Maps API to render the map, so you will need a Google Maps API key with the Maps JavaScript API enabled. Google offers generous free usage that covers most real estate sites, and the documentation walks you through obtaining and adding your key.

How does radius search work?

Visitors place a marker anywhere on the map, choose a radius distance, and the search returns every property within that area. This is ideal for buyers who need to be close to a specific place, like a workplace, a school district, or a hospital, rather than searching by neighborhood name or postal code.

Will the map filter update as visitors zoom and pan?

Yes. The addon includes five map styles, so you can choose the one that complements your site’s overall design. Pin markers stay visible across all styles, and you can switch between styles anytime through the addon settings.
