Is this addon really free?

What gets exported when I run a full backup?

Everything that defines your Real Estate Manager setup. Properties (or a selection of them), all REM plugin settings, your Property Field Sections, your custom Property Fields, and your custom Registration Fields. The result is a complete portable snapshot of your site’s real estate configuration.

Can I export only some properties instead of all of them?

Yes. You can choose to export every property in your database, export a specific selection by property ID, or export all properties belonging to a particular agent. This makes it easy to handle partial migrations, agent departures, or focused backups.

Will importing overwrite my existing data?

The addon gives you control over the import process so you can choose how to handle conflicts. The full behavior is covered in the documentation, but in general the import is designed for setting up new sites or restoring backups, so you can review what will happen before any data is changed.
